How to Manage Permissions Within a Shared Google Drives
Overview
This article will explain how users can manage permissions in shared Google Drive. This allows admins to determine which folders can be visible to an entire group or only a few designated users.

How to share folders/files within a shared Drive:
- Navigate to the shared drive and single-click on the folder you plan to change permissions for
Highlight the folder you want to change permissions for and click on share.
- From here, a popup menu should appear on your screen, giving you the option to enter in email addresses of users you wish to give access to. After you have entered the individuals' names and the permission level, click Done.
NOTE: An email will be sent to the individuals who have been given access. Invitees must access the shared folder for the first time through email so that it appears in their own Shared Drive.
