Accessing UMD Virtual Workspace

Overview

The University of Maryland offers a Virtual Workspace service to its students, staff, and faculty. This service provides a Windows virtual desktop with a range of software applications that are essential for university work. Through this service, you can access programs that may not be available on your desktop or laptop. To use the virtual desktop, you need to log in with your university credentials from a variety of devices. Once you are logged in, you can access, work on, and save files from cloud-based storage such as Box and Google. Additionally, you can manage and edit files on your local computer.
