Overview
The Asset tag is a label that serves as its identifier and can then be scanned to get essential information about that device. This involves its description, location, status, serial numbers, etc.
Where to locate the Asset Tag
- The Asset tag is usually a small label found somewhere on the device, most commonly on the rear of the device. The tag will be 6-7 characters depending on the type of tag on your device, It should look like this:
