How to Clear Your Printer Queue
Overview
Clearing your printer queue removes all pending print jobs, providing a clean slate for new printing tasks in just seconds. This can also be a great way to troubleshoot your printer if you are experiencing printer issues. If this does not help your printing issues please see the related articles at the bottom for other options or report the incident through our portal.
Apple Computers
- Open the Apple Menu and go to System Settings
- Click on "Printers & Scanners"
- Click on the printer that you would like to clear the queue for and click on Printer Queue
- This will open a pop up that will show you all of the items in the queue. If you would like to remove an item from the queue click on the "x" on the right side of the item. If you would like to pause the printing process click on the pause bottom on the top right. Once you have removed all items, an empty printer queue should look like this.
