Donald Gayle

Donald Gayle began his journey with Maryland Athletics IT in April 2016 as an IT Coordinator, delivering vital technology support to the Athletics staff, coaches, and student-athletes. His dedication led to a promotion in 2018 to Senior Systems Engineer, where he now focuses on maintaining the network infrastructure that supports IPTV, digital signage, and a host of other technologies leveraged by the Athletics Department. Prior to joining Maryland, Donald honed his skills as an IT consultant at New Signature (Microsoft US Partner of the Year - 2015), supporting a variety of small businesses in the DC area. He is a proud University of Maryland graduate, holding a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from 2013. Donald is married to his high school sweetheart, Shanique, and together they have a lovely daughter named Sophia.
