Timothy Santosa

Tim earned his Computer Science degree from the University of Maryland in 2019 and has since served as a systems administrator and data engineer for Maryland Athletics. He ensures software security and compliance by managing campus authentication integrations and student data pipelines. Tim also supports cloud infrastructure in both AWS and Azure to run and scale the department’s data engineering workflows.

In addition to his engineering duties, Tim manages the Athletics IT service desk, overseeing day-to-day support operations for staff, coaches, and student-athletes. He leads a team of student technicians, coordinates device deployments and troubleshooting, and administers endpoint management systems like Intune and JAMF. His primary goal is to lead a customer-first support culture and ensure compliance with university IT policies.
